A GEM is hitting the market in metro-Atlanta this month.
Retire to small town living in an elegant country home with convenient access to I-20. This recently updated, custom built, all brick 6 bedroom, 7 bath estate resting on 5+ acres with shared pond will provide a respite from the city. Relax in the master suite’s large soaking tub or swim a lap in the salt water gunite pool. Be captivated by the spacious master suite with vaulted ceilings, a seating area, double walk-in closets, water closet, new tile walk-in shower, new tile bathroom floors, and double vanities with new granite. Entertain in the vaulted living room, vaulted den, and open gourmet kitchen featuring a Sub-Zero refrigerator, new granite countertops, tumbled stone backsplash, professional gas Thermador cook top with downdraft on an enormous island, stainless steel appliances, and butler’s pantry with ice machine. The two spotless upper levels of the home boast loads of built-ins, gleaming restaurant finish hardwood floors, a three car garage, new carpet, and walls of windows to frame the lush views. The lower level of the home holds a private entrance, two car garage, and full in-law suite with separate kitchen, baths, game room, spa, french doors and screened in porch. No detail was left unattended in this 2x6 constructed Good Cents home that also includes spray foam insulation, a generator, dual cellular alarm system, central vacuum system, intercom and radio system, wood burning fire place, water softener, oversized windows, extensive interior moldings, excessive closet and storage space, and gorgeous landscaping. Make sure you take time to view this impeccable estate and plan your move to Social Circle, GA.
Mixing Staging with Remodeling
When I first visited the country estate in Social Circle, I was blown away at the size and quality of this massive home. The two upper levels are certainly spacious, bit it takes "mother-in-law suite" to a whole new level with a private entrance, garage, screened-in porch, two bedrooms, three baths, game room, living area, and full kitchen. The house was constructed in the late 1990's and was designed for a family who needed plenty of space inside and out. The finishes were all of the highest quality and it had been immaculately maintained, but it needed a bit of updating before it hit the market this summer.
The homeowner and I came up with a plan to bring the home forward, which started with removing wallpaper, painting the entire home a warm neutral color, Sherwin Williams Kilim Beige, and updating the carpeted areas with a thick, soft new carpet in a warm taupe. The master bath was enormous and we wanted to renew it by replacing the tile throughout and adding new countertops. Lightening up the kitchen by replacing the countertops with new Giallo Ornamental granite and tumbled travertine backsplash was another project that really shows off the luxurious features available in this kitchen. Landscaping, decluttering, and some site work have all played a large part in how well this home finished out. This home is now buyer-ready with fresh paint, carpeting, tile, and granite. It's gorgeous!
I am so proud of how this home turned out and I am looking forward to working with this family again in the future.
